Huzzah!
I finally figured out a way to make the trailer box a perfect cube as I had envisaged it. So 24″ on each side (instead of 24″W x 24″H x 26″L), yet it still expands to a camper base a full 6½ feet long.
Those extra few inches at the end are all-important; they provide needed wiggle room for my toes. And that doesn’t interfere with the popup canopy. Win!
